Inventory Valuation

Although we are known for our professional and careful service, upon rare occasion, damages can occur. Federal law requires licensed companies to provide valuation coverage only for long distance moves, but we feel that our local customers are just as important. For this reason, DN Van Lines provides free valuation coverage to all customers served. The free coverage protects your furniture in the amount of $.60 per pound. For example, if a three hundred pound dresser were damaged, you would receive $180 as compensation.

Additional Insurance

In the event a customer needs to insure a more valuable item, additional insurance is available at a rate of $50 for every $1000 of coverage. The policy has no deductible and guarantees that if an insured item is damaged, it will be fixed, replaced, or compensated for in full. This option is often taken for valuable electronics or expensive antiques. Regardless of whether or not you choose to purchase additional insurance, we relentlessly commit ourselves to the safe transportation of all your belongings.
